DDI Webcast

The Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) hosted a webcast on the Duke Digital Initiative (DDI), on Thursday, July 27, 2006 . Duke Digital Initiative staff provided an update on this groundbreaking program, which has grown from its initial focus on iPods in 2004-2005 to a broader scope that includes incorporation of Tablet PCs and handheld computers,collaborative learning tools, and digital recording and distribution of classroom lectures and presentations. The Webcast also included an assessment of the overall 2005-2006 Duke Digital Initiative and featured segments on this year’s iPod courses and pilot programs in podcasting, iTunes U and Tablet PCusage.
